ArcelorMittal Moving Forward With $1.2 Billion Brazilian Steel Mill Expansion, an Industrial Info News Alert
Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) (Luxembourg) is moving forward with the $1.2 billion expansion of the Monlevade Steel Mill, located about 110 kilometers from Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais state in southeastern Brazil. Construction began in March 2008 and is expected to last 30 months. Construtora Lideranca (Belo Horizonte) is in charge of construction.
