KBR Looks for Suppliers From Teesside’s Best

NOF Energy, the business development organisation for the oil, gas and energy sectors, is offering their supply chain on Teesside the chance to pitch for business with one of the globe's largest service companies.

KBR, which has designed and constructed more than half of the world's liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity, will be recruiting firms to its global supplier database during an event to be held at Middlesbrough Football Club next month.

Delegates can book one-to-one meetings with KBR's principal manager of procurement and materials, John Bigglestone, who will be a keynote speaker at the conference.

Also speaking at the event on September 25 will be Oil & Gas UK's Norman McLennan, who will discuss supply chain code of practice.

George Rafferty, chief executive of NOF Energy, said: "Major global companies such as KBR are continually looking to develop and improve their portfolio of suppliers.

This event will be a great opportunity for the North-east to demonstrate the quality of its products and services.

"I hope that oil and gas sectors from the region take advantage of this event, which could be the first step to building a new relationship with one of the world's most progressive and successful energy sector service organisations."
