Yemen, Ethiopia Sign Technical Training Agreement

Sana’a, 24 August: Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals Abd al- Malik Alama said on 24 July that the Yemeni-Ethiopian Joint Technical Committee signed on August 23 in Addis Abba a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two countries in the fields of oil, gas and energy.
Upon arrival from Ethiopia on Sunday, Alama made clear that the MoU includes activating cooperation between Yemen and Ethiopia through Yemen’s training for Ethiopian cadre in the field of oil and gas and Ethiopia’s training for Yemeni cadre in the field of energy and electricity and geological survey.
He noted that the agreement affirms the importance of encouraging investment between the two countries in fields of gas, minerals and energy.
