Shanghai Group’s Business Council Discuss Energy, Food Security

Dushanbe, 26 August: In the run-up to the summit of the heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, a board meeting of the organization’s business council opened in Dushanbe today.
Participants in the meeting discuss issues of energy and food security, development of tourism and agricultural problems.
A delegation headed by the chairman of the Tajik group at the SCO’s business council and the head of the Trade and Industry Chamber of Tajikistan, Sharif Said, represents Tajikistan at the meeting.
