Canadian Nimiq 4 Satellite Will Be Launched From Baikonur on Sept 19 – Source
BAIKONUR. Aug 27 (Interfax-AVN) – The Canadian Nimiq 4 satellite is due to be launched with a Proton Breeze M rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome on September 19, a source at the center told Interfax on Wednesday.
Specialists at the cleaning area of the 92A-50 integration and testing facility are currently carrying out autonomous checks of the telecommunications satellite.
Moreover, calculation experts from Russian space companies are at site N200 for pre-launch preparations of the Proton launch vehicle. The Breeze M upper stage is due to be moved to the fuel station on site N31 on Wednesday, to fill its tanks with propellants and compressed gases, the source said.
