Rosatom Chief Signs Directive on Starting Npp Construction in Kaliningrad Region
MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) – Sergei Kiriyenko, the general director of the Russian state corporation Rosatom, signed a directive on organizing the construction of the Baltic Nuclear Power Plant in the Kaliningrad region on August 13, Rosatom said in a press release.
The directive appoints OAO Concern Energoatom the construction manager of the project and recommends that the St. Petersburg Atomenergoproekt research and design institute be chosen as the general designer.
