Kelly is Celebrating

A TALENTED civil engineer is celebrating her success after passing her honours degree at Coventry University with flying colours.

Kelly Mullane (right), aged 26, from Stoke-on-Trent, is the first civil engineer working for Staffordshire County Council to be trained from scratch and awarded a first class BEng honours degree.

The course at Coventry University involved completing a variety of complex civil engineering modules as well as penning a 10,000- word dissertation which explored the possibility of re-using waste materials from power stations and incinerators in roadand bridge construction.
