WALNUT CREEK -- More than 3,700 Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers temporarily lost power late Wednesday due to downed wires, according to the utility district.
The affected power pole was at the intersection of Blackstone and Solveig drives in Walnut Creek.
Ehlers said there was no timetable for the restoration of power to the remaining residents.
