Russian Director of Bushehr Power Project in Iran

Tehran, 31 August: The Russian director of the Bushehr power plant project, Leonid Reznikov, entered Iran on Sunday night [31 August] for a three day visit. He is accompanied by his deputy and a delegation of experts.
The Russian delegation will begin their negotiations with a team of Iranians headed by Ahmad Fayaz-Bakhsh, the deputy director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
Reznikov will begin inspecting different sections of the Bushehr power plant on Monday morning.
Iran on January received the 82-ton consignment of nuclear fuel from Russia for the Bushehr plant.
The Head of the Russian Nuclear Energy Agency, Sergey Kiriyenko, and Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Gholamreza Aqazadeh recently announced that the Bushehr plant will be operational by the end of the year.
