August 31, 2008
A BRITISH Airways pilot had to abort take-off to eject a passenger who refused to switch off his mobile phone.
The flight, bound for Heathrow, was halted as it taxied towards the runway at Geneva airport.
Passenger Peter Wightman, 77, of Southampton, Hants, said: “Everyone clapped as he was ejected.”
