Emirates Airline Takes Delivery of Two Boeing 777 Aircraft

Emirates Airline has taken the delivery of a Boeing 777-300ER and a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.
The delivery of both long-range models brings Emirates's all-wide bodied passenger fleet to 111 aircraft and adds a further 620 seats to the airline's capacity.
The two new jets will be deployed on Emirates's long-haul routes, and have already been earmarked for its first journeys to North and South America. The airline has 63 Boeing 777s in its modern fleet and has 39 more on firm order worth $10.1 billion
Ahmed Al-Maktoum, chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group said: "Our latest two 777s are a welcome addition to the fleet. It is not often an airline receives delivery of two wide-bodied aircraft, together worth over $500 million, in a single day."
