SUEZ Energy Resources NA Signs On As Key Sponsor for Hartford Business Journal Energy Summit

SUEZ Energy Resources NA, the retail energy business of SUEZ Energy North America, will be the signature sponsor for the Hartford Business Journal's Business Energy Summit, an educational summit discussing the intricacies of the retail electricity market, on Sept. 11, in Cromwell, Conn. The event will allow business leaders to learn from the experts, and will provide information on many of the energy options now available to consumers.

As the signature sponsor, SUEZ Energy Resources will deliver opening remarks to kick off the summit and will offer two of its energy experts to educate the business community on the issues and solutions that are at the forefront of the industry today. SUEZ Energy Resources speakers will include:

-- Randy Lennan, Director of Sales Development, who will address the benefits of Demand Response, the various options available to customers, and how operational flexibility can help add to the bottom line; and

-- Ritchie Priddy, Marketing Director for Demand Response, who will discuss Renewable Energy and Carbon Management, and will identify a range of opportunities for achieving savings through improved energy efficiency programs.

"SUEZ looks forward to participating in this exciting discussion with our peers," said Geert Peeters, interim president and chief executive officer, SUEZ Energy Resources NA. "In partnering with the Hartford Business Journal, SUEZ has the opportunity to further educate business leaders in one of our target markets about the complexity of the energy market, and provide them unique insight into the ways they can improve their business through smart energy policy."
