Global Hunter Commences Drilling of Molybdenum Mineralization at Rabbit South

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 3, 2008) - Global Hunter Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BOB) ("Global Hunter" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that Foraco Drilling Ltd. ("Foraco") of Kamloops, British Columbia has been awarded the contract for drilling at the Rabbit South Property. The drilling program began on August 5, 2008 when Foraco brought a Connor 25 HH diamond drill on the property.

The first seven holes equaling 1,230 metres of the 3,700-metre diamond drill program have been completed. These holes are located in the southern half of the higher grade Eastern Zone. Five of the completed holes have twinned previous historic holes to confirm the historic molybdenum grades shown in the table below. -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- 2008 DDH______Holes twinned____Depth____From m____To m____Length m____ % Mo -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- RS-D-08-123__ RS-D-80-56______ 288.0______13.4__ 185.9______ 172.5____0.057 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________Including__________________ 33.5____82.3________48.8____0.090 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- RS-D-08-125__ RS-P-79-28________79.2______ 9.1____79.2________70.1____0.028 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________Including EOH sample________76.2____79.2________ 3.0____0.179 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________RS-D-81-87______ 272.2______ 6.9__ 243.8______ 237.0____0.025 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________Including__________________137.2__ 182.9________45.7____0.046 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- RS-D-08-126__ RS-P-79- 26________88.4______15.2____61.0________45.7____0.037 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- RS-D-08-127__ RS-P-80-61______ 106.7______12.2__ 106.7________94.5____0.047 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________Including__________________ 45.7____97.5________51.8____0.061 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- RS-D-08-129__ RS-P-80- 81________54.9______10.1____54.9________44.8____0.037 -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- ______________Including__________________ 21.3____42.7________21.4____0.037 -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------

Three of the historic holes completed by previous operators twinned this year were finished while still in molybdenum mineralization. All the holes this year have intersected molybdenite bearing quartz vein stockwork in quartz monzonite porphyry intrusion from surface to the Thrust Fault that defines the contact with the underlying Nicola Group andesite and andesite tuffs.

Results will be analyzed by Eco Tech laboratories in Kamloops, British Columbia and will be released once prepared. A National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimate is scheduled to be complete by year-end including data from the current program.

Global Hunter's Exploration Manager, Tor Bruland, M. Sc., P.Geo. (B.C.), designed the drilling program, and has reviewed and approved the technical information in this news release. The diamond drilling is supervised by project manager, Donald G. Allen, M.A.Sc., P. Eng. (B.C.). Both are the Qualified Persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

The property consists of 1,900 hectares located near Kamloops, British Columbia, 30 kilometers North East of the Highland Valley copper mine, and is accessible year round by highways and logging roads.

The molybdenum mineralization at Roper Lake was discovered in 1959 by Kennco Exploration (Western) Ltd. and was first drilled by Dominic Lake Mining Co. Ltd. in 1967 before being explored further between 1979 and 1981 by Cominco Ltd. Global Hunter optioned the property in January 2004 and has since completed two drill programs in 2005 and 2007.

On Behalf of the Board of Directors GLOBAL HUNTER CORP.
