AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuclear Energy for Texans (NET) applauds Exelon Generation for filing today its first new nuclear plant application with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for a site in Victoria County, Texas.
Texas is expecting a surge in electricity demand over the next 20 years as the population continues to expand.
