Russia’s Gazprom Resumes Gas Deliveries to Europe Following Pipeline Repair

Moscow, 4 September: In view of the partial completion of repairs by the companies EuRoPol Gaz and Wingas, the Gazprom public company resumed the transportation of gas through the Yamal-Europe pipeline at 1900 hours [presumably Moscow time] on 3 September.
All customer requests are being met in full at present, the Gazprom information directorate said.
The delivery of gas through the Yamal-Europe pipeline was suspended [earlier] at the request of the companies EuRoPol GAZ and Wingas for scheduled repairs in Polish and German territory. The decision about the repairs had been taken back in February 2008.
