SAS Cargo to Launch New Service Between Scandinavia and India

SAS Cargo, the cargo airline of Scandinavian Airlines System, has announced that it will launch a new service between Scandinavia and India, effective October 27, 2008.
The airline will operate the new service with Airbus A340/330 aircraft with three weekly round-trips.
In the winter traffic program, the flight leaves Copenhagen, Denmark, for Delhi, India, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; and returns from Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Each flight offers an approximate pay-load of 16 tons.
SAS Cargo's has recently appointed InterGlobe, an airline management company, as its general sales agent in Delhi.
Per Vransoe, director of Asia-Pacific for SAS Cargo, said: "The partnership with InterGlobe ensures SAS Cargo a highly competent and professional sales agent in India. I am sure that everyone involved will do their utmost to make the new route between Delhi and Copenhagen a success."
