SSP Opens Flavours Food Retail Brand at New Delhi's IGI Airport

SSP, an operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, has entered into the Indian aviation market with the launch of Flavours, a food retail brand, at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International, or IGI, Airport.
According to SSP, this unit is its first in India, bringing the company's global presence to 31 countries in total. SSP has secured two contracts with the Delhi International Airport which will see further food and beverage brands opening in the airport over the next few months.
Henrik Andersen, managing director of SSP Gulf and India, said: "This is SSP's first business win in India, and we're delighted to be establishing a foot-hold in this strategically important country. This new win builds on the success we've already had in the region, and we're very excited to be making such rapid progress in achieving our ambitious plans for growth across the Middle East and India."
