Sainsbury’s Recalls Batch of Own-Brand Strawberry Pencils

The UK’s Food Standards Agency has announced that supermarket chain Sainsbury’s has recalled a batch of its own-brand confectionery product Strawberry Pencils as the product may contain pieces of metal in it.

The store has recalled the affected batch from sale. The product being recalled is: Sainsbury’s Strawberry Pencils (75 grams) with a best before date of July 2009.

The Food Standards Agency also noted that no other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.
