Czech Court Sentences Fugitive Businessman to Seven Years

Prague, 9 September: A Czech court today sentenced Radovan Krejcir, fugitive Czech billionaire, in absentia to seven years in prison in connection with the abduction of entrepreneur Jakub Konecny.
Krejcir is suspected of having Konecny kidnapped in 2002.
Today's verdict has not yet taken effect, it can be appealed.
