Evergreen Selects Lido RouteManual Navigation Charts From Lufthansa Systems

Evergreen International Airlines has selected Lido RouteManual navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems, a full-service IT provider for the airline and aviation sector. The five-year agreement between the two companies includes a complete service package for revising and updating the manuals and providing them in the cockpit.
The navigation charts are generated directly from the Lido navigation database, which contains worldwide aeronautical information and topographical data amongst others.
The charts include graphical representations of take-off and landing procedures as well as true-to-scale geographic information such as the height of mountains and course of rivers. All relevant information is color-coded, enabling pilots to see them at a glance.
With the introduction of the Lido RouteManual, Evergreen has migrated from so-called pilot manuals to ship manuals. This means that pilots no longer have their own individual manuals, instead, the manuals are stored on the aircraft.
