Attack on gas pipeline in Bolivia reduces supply to Brazil
LIMA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- An attack on a gas pipeline in the south of Bolivia has reduced the country's export of natural gas to Brazil by 10 percent, said news reports from La Paz, administrative capital of Bolivia, on Wednesday.
The attack, which took place on Tuesday, was organized by opposition forces which started a wave of protests in the east and south of the country, Santos Ramirez, president of the state-owned Yacimientos Petrolifers Fiscales Bolivianos, was quoted as saying.
