China Natural Gas Acquires Compressor Station in China

China Natural Gas, a provider of compressed natural gas for vehicular fuel and pipeline natural gas for industrial, commercial and residential use, has acquired one compressor station located in the west of Xitong Highway of Weiyang District in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, in China.

The acquisition will increase the company’s daily processing capacity from 300,000 cubic meters to 650,000 cubic meters, which can support an additional more than 20 compressed natural gas stations.

Qinan Ji, chairman and CEO of China Natural Gas, said: “We are very pleased to share this announcement with our investors. This compressor station is the largest station by capacity in the city of Xi’an, and its acquisition marks the other major strategic move by the company.”
