BLM to Auction Gas, Oil Leases in Colorado

The Colorado office of the Bureau of Land Management on Thursday said it will auction leases for oil and gas development on roughly 20,382 acres on Nov. 13.The land includes 22 parcels owned by BLM and 16 split-estate parcels with shared government and private ownerships. The lease sale will offer parcels in 11 counties, including 8,861 acres in Archuleta, 509.52 acres in Garfield, 80 in Kiowa, 635.32 acres in Moffat, 400 acres in Montezuma, 4,810.21 acres in Rio Blanco, 1,295.8 acres in San Miguel and 2,911.14 acres in Weld.
