Five Russian Troops Hurt in Mine Blast in Abkhazia – Georgian Agency

Zugdidi, 14 September: Russian troops were wounded when one of their own mines exploded in the village of Chuburkhinji, in Abkhazia’s Gali District. Kavkas Press’ regional correspondent reports that five troops were wounded, three of them badly.
They have all been taken to hospital.
The Russian troops were blown up on a mine laid near their post in the village of Chuburkhinji. The incident happened as works were under way to enlarge the post.
