Japanese airlines cancels 14 flights due to computer malfunction
TOKYO, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) — A computer failure has so far caused the cancellation of 14 domestic flights of All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA), local media reported Sunday.
The glitch, which hit the major Japanese airliner’s computer system early Sunday, affected the operations of flight reservations, check-in, and baggage control.
The suspended flights are those scheduled to take off from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Osaka, Okayama, Takamatsu, Fukuoka and Nagasaki.
