Chad Willis, president and co-founder of energy investment firm Texas Energy Holdings, will co-chair an event in New York City benefiting the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project. The organization was founded to help 9/11 rescue workers who suffer health problems from toxic exposure following the attacks on the World Trade Center.
"I am honored to be involved with many Dallas-based nonprofit and philanthropic organizations that help and inspire young people and teen mothers, and now I am privileged to be associated with the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project and its program that has provided help to hundreds of heroic emergency workers suffering 9/11-related health problems," said Chad Willis, president and co-founder of Texas Energy Holdings. "The program is committed to restoring the health of these rescue workers, and we look forward to a successful event that will further benefit the commitment of everyone involved in the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project."
The event is being held September 18, 2008, at the famed DYLAN Prime restaurant in New York. For more information about the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project visit: www.nydetox.org
