US-based Gerber Products, a part of the Nestle Infant Nutrition portfolio, has expanded its line of premium baby foods with the launch of three new dinner purees with docosahexaenoic acid and one new Organic dinner puree. The company has also relaunched its Organic Cereal varieties.

Dinner Purees with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are available in three varieties: garden vegetables with whole wheat pasta, vegetable risotto with cheese, and macaroni and cheese with vegetables. Organic Dinner Puree is available in only one variety: chicken with country vegetables and rice. Organic Cereal is available in two varieties: whole grain oatmeal and whole grain brown rice.

Jillian Rado, regulatory specialist for Nestle Infant Nutrition, said: “It is important to introduce babies to the healthy tastes of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Gerber’s new varieties, including purees with DHA and Organic foods for babies, provide healthy and flavorful options for parents who are concerned about providing their infants with the best nutrition.”
