Hunt for Missing Painting

POLICE are trying to trace an oil painting which went missing from the passenger terminal at Coventry airport last week.

The owner discovered the loss on Tuesday, September 9, after taking a taxi from the airport shortly after 7.30am and returned immediately to look for it.

It is believed that the painting, which features a boy leaning on a car in a street in Cuba, was last seen in the cafe area.

Anyone who was in the passenger terminal at the time and saw anyone pick up the rolled-up painting which measures one metre by 800cm, or has any information about it is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 01926 415000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on0800 555111.
