Alliance Pipeline Files Tariff Proposal With FERC

Alliance Pipeline has filed a tariff proposal with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to enable Pecan Pipeline North Dakota to transport dense phase gas under a waiver of the liquefiable hydrocarbon specification currently contained in Alliance’s FERC gas tariff.

As Pecan North Dakota’s receipts will be blended with much larger quantities entering from Canada, the combined gas stream delivered at the Chicago market will remain within Alliance’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gas tariff quality specifications.

Gas transported on the Alliance system is processed at the Aux Sable Liquid Products extraction plant in Channahon, Illinois. Subject to FERC approval, Pecan North Dakota will contract with Alliance for an initial 10-year transportation agreement.
