Four Years’ Research and Development Produced Naturally Iowa’s New Great Tasting “Yogurt in a Bottle 7.0″

September 18, 2008

Naturally Iowa (PINKSHEETS: NLIA) — “It’s been a long time coming, but it was worth every trial and test that produced it,” stated William Horner, President & CEO of Naturally Iowa. This new yogurt meets all of the company’s criteria of excellence: great taste, certified organic, billions of live probiotics in each serving, and packaged in their unique “bottles made from plants… not oil.”

Probiotics are just beginning to catch on in the United States but have been available in many forms in Europe since 1987. Probiotics are live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer beneficial health effects. There have been many tests relating to all of the benefits of Probiotics, most notable being a healthier intestinal tract, which promotes a stronger immune system.

The product rollout came in July with Ball’s Foods’ Henhouse stores in Kansas City, Missouri. Now the product can also be purchased at Iowa’s largest grocery retailer. HyVee operates more than 220 retail stores in 7 Midwestern states including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

This groundbreaking, great tasting yogurt product embodies one of Naturally Iowa’s favorite themes — “a healthier you in a healthier environment.”
