SR Technics and SAS Scandinavian Airlines have signed a contractual agreement covering aircraft services for the airline's Airbus A330 and A340 fleets.
The work will be carried out at SR Technics's facilities in Dublin, Ireland, and is due to commence in November 2008. Under the new accord, SR Technics will provide aircraft services for SAS's fleet of four Airbus A330 and seven Airbus A340 aircraft.
The work will consist of C-checks and a modification program on the 11 aircraft, and will be performed between November 2008 and April 2009. The new agreement supplements an existing agreement between SR Technics and SAS covering auxiliary power unit support for the carrier's Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Peter Kamenz, executive vice president of sales and marketing at SR Technics, said: "The fact that SAS has again chosen SR Technics to provide these services for its Airbus fleet is a testament to the high levels of service and quality that our customer has experienced to date."
