Global Crossing Names CFO
US-based IP network provider Global Crossing has announced the appointment of John Kritzmacher as executive vice president and CFO of the company.
Kritzmacher will take over on October 1 from Jean Mandeville, who will be resigning on September 30. Mandeville served as CFO since 2004.
Prior to his new role, Kritzmacher was CFO at Lucent Technologies and a senior executive at Alcatel-Lucent. During his ten years with Lucent, he played a senior role in the planning and merger of Lucent and Alcatel, later becoming the COO of the Services Business Group at Alcatel-Lucent. He also held various positions at Lucent's predecessor, AT&T Network Systems.
