Prague, 25 September The Russian secret services tried to contact and influence politicians as well as the media to increase the Czech public’s resistance to the possible stationing of a US radar on Czech soil last year, the Czech BIS counterintelligence says in its report released today.
The annual report for 2007 says these activities may be part of a long-term campaign aimed at the integrity of the EU and NATO.
