TRENDnet Announces Energy Star Certification of Over 50 Networking Hardware Solutions
TRENDnet, a best-in-class wired and wireless networking hardware brand, today announces Energy Star certification for 54 unique networking solutions.
Energy Star is a joint program by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy (DOE). Energy Star certifies strict electrical consumption thresholds for a variety of products with the goal of reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Products ranging from home appliances, office equipment, lighting, home electronics and networking hardware can gain Energy Star certification.
"TRENDnet is thrilled to announce Energy Star certification for such a large number of our networking solutions," stated Zak Wood, Senior Marketing Manager for TRENDnet. "Each certified TRENDnet product consumes less energy, reduces electrical bills and helps the environment in a small but important way. We are proud of the substantial cumulative energy savings generated by all of TRENDnet's Energy Star certified products."
