Queensland Gas Appoints New Board Member

The Queensland Gas Company has appointed Martin Houston, the BG Group’s executive vice president and managing director for the Americas and global liquefied natural gas activities, as an alternate director to its board.
Mr Houston is responsible for one of the three regions covering the BG Group’s worldwide operations. His responsibilities include overseeing BG’s businesses in the Americas and Australia in addition to its global liquefied natural gas (LNG) activities.
Bob Bryan, chairman of the Queensland Gas Company, said: “Martin Houston has great experience and stature in the BG Group, particularly in the development of global LNG projects, and we are delighted with his nomination.”
