James River Coal Sets Up Stock Offering

Mine operator James River Coal has set the terms of a 1.5 million- share stock offering. James River said in an SEC filing Friday it’s pricing the deal at $30 a share. Shares closed at $24.61 in trading Friday. James River expects to net nearly $44 million after fees and expenses.
