Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines to Kick Off Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Arrival of Pink Plane

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA):

What: Northwest Airlines is teaming with Delta Air Lines to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by flying Delta's pink plane from LaGuardia to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Breast cancer survivors from both companies, as well as company executives will take the flight and be on hand for a ceremony following the plane's arrival. Pink lemonade, cookies, and T-Shirts will be on hand for donations. Delta's Pink Mini-Cooper will also make an appearance. When: Wednesday, October 1, 2008 Ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. CST Where: MSP, Hangar 4, building C - (off of 34th Avenue South) Who: Julie Showers, Senior Vice President Inflight Services, Northwest Joanne Smith, Senior Vice President In-flight Services, Delta Myra J. Members of the media who are attending should arrive at Northwest Airlines building C, 7500 Airline Drive, Minneapolis, for escort to hangar 4.
