Gastar Exploration to Present at The IPAA Oil and Gas Investment Symposium

Gastar Exploration Ltd. (AMEX:GST) and (TSX:YGA) today announced that it will participate in the IPAA Oil & Gas Investor Symposium being held in San Francisco on October 6 through 8, 2008.

J. Russell Porter, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will make a presentation at 3:55 p.m. Pacific Time (6:55 p.m. Eastern) on Monday, October 6.
