FreeWave Technologies Adds Industry Veteran to Lead Its Rocky Mountain Region
BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- FreeWave Technologies, the largest independent provider of high performance spread spectrum and licensed radio products and services in the industry, today announced that industry veteran Daniel G. Steele will lead its business development efforts in the Rocky Mountain Region. Steele, who has more than 25 years of experience, will be working in several industries within the Rocky Mountain Region, but will have a large emphasis on oil and gas.

Steele has more than 25 years experience selling SCADA networks for the water and wastewater, oil and gas, electric utilities, railroad, traffic and process control instrumentation markets. Steele's experience includes working as a systems integrator for three years, branch manager for Water Works Equipment for five years; regional sales manager for Rockwell International for five years; regional area manager for Microwave Data Systems for eight years; and, Senior VP of Sales for Bluewave Antenna Systems for two years. He studied electronics and psychology at Utah Technical College, now known as Utah Valley University.
In his new position, Steele will help escalate FreeWave's presence and leadership in the oil and gas industry. FreeWave is a leader in wireless communications in oil and gas.
