Blue Chip Performance From Thriving Traditional Chippy

MANY firms may be taking a bit of a battering during the current downturn but a Llandudno Junction-based businesses is bucking that trend and preparing to pull in more trade.

Enoch's Fish and Chips cafe and take away, on Conwy Road, is reporting a 20% boost in sales and is looking to expand.

Danny White-Meir took over from his parents two years ago and now plans to open a second outlet.

He said the company's success is due in large part to achieving Investors in People status: "One of our most important assets is our people and investing in developing them makes good business sense. It demonstrates we value their contribution and will enhance their skills and knowledge for the good of the company. We're passionate about producing high quality food and we want to change traditional perceptions that fish and chip meals are a low-end dining experience.
