Hyundai Will Pay a Fine for Nosovice

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) (Czech Republic), automotive company, is finishing building of its plant in Nosovice, Czech Republic. It has to pay one of three fines for breach of the law during building. HMMC is a part of the automotive company Hyundai Motor (South Korea). The plant in Nosovice is its first plant in Europe. The total costs for its building reach CEK 1.1 bil, about CEK 27.5 bil. The plant is to start operation at the end of 2008. It is to manufacture 200,000 cars/y in the first stage and 300,000 cars/y later.
