Pinn Bros. Fine Homes is Unveiling Nation's Largest 100% Solar Master-Planned Community, Wednesday, Oct. 8th

WHAT: Pinn Bros. Fine Homes is making history by building the nation's largest solar powered master-planned community, located in Brentwood, Calif. Palmilla is projected to exceed state energy efficiency standards by 35 percent and save homebuyers up to 60 percent on their electricity bills. The progressive builder is partnering with OCR Solar & Roofing to install a solar electric system by BP Solar as a standard feature on 455 homes, 108 apartments and two recreation centers for a total of 565 buildings

WHY: Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor, Tim Tutt of the California Energy Commission as well as representatives from BP Solar, Pinn Bros. and OCR Solar & Roofing will briefly address the importance of this new solar neighborhood - the next generation of energy-efficient living.
