Verizon Wireless Scores Highest in Latest J.D. Power and Associates Customer Satisfaction Study in New England

WILMINGTON, Mass., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the leader in customer loyalty among wireless carriers, ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the Northeast, which includes the six-state New England region of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Rhode Island, in J.D. Power and Associates' 2008 Wireless Regional Customer Satisfaction Index Study(SM), Volume 2.

Verizon Wireless ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, North Central, Southeast and West regions. The J.D. Power and Associates study measures customer satisfaction based on six key factors that impact overall wireless carrier performance: call quality, customer service, service plan options, brand image, cost of service, and billing.
