Flight From City to Nanded, Latur

MUMBAI: Two more towns in Maharashtra will get air connectivity from Saturday. Kingfisher Airlines is starting an ATR flight, connecting Mumbai with Nanded and Latur.

The move comes after repeated requests by the state government to private airlines for a service to Nanded for Guru ta gaddi, the tercentenary of Guru Gobind Singh. Finally, Kingfisher agreed to start tri-weekly services.

The ceremony will go on for a year and there will be lot of devotees coming from across the world. Besides, people from Hingoli, Parbhani, Yavatmal in Marathwad and Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh can use the air services.
