Iceland’s President Letter From D Gameson, of Blythe Bridge

Iceland Lesson: We heard Iceland's President on TV advising us on how his country has no dependency on fossil fuel imports, wind farms, or worse still, nuclear power stations with grotesque radioactive waste landfill sites.

I believe that the industrial heartland of Western Europe sits upon a relatively thin plate of the earth's crust. This results in a rising of warm water which has been constant for over 2,000 years. My question is why haven't we developed this?

We certainly should never allow a foreign nation to build nuclear power plants in this country.

Let the Icelanders show us how they keep their country clean and out of the grasping hands of Middle East oil merchants.
