Mine Removal Operation Begins in Eastern Croatia

DRENOVCI, Oct 6 (Hina) - The removal of mines from 556,000- square-metre mine-suspected areas in the eastern Croatian villages of Drenovci and Tenja near the border with Bosnia-Hercegovina started on Monday.
The project is being financed from the European Commission's Cross Border fund, and is expected to be completed in a few months' time.
