Iranian Oil Company Chief Arrives in Beijing

Beijing, China, 6 October: Head of the National Iranian Oil Company Seyfollah Jashnsaz, heading a delegation, arrived in Beijing on Monday [6 October 2008].
Ways of expanding bilateral ties, cooperation in South Pars gas field, purchase of LNG and the presence of Chinese companies in the North Pars gas field will be discussed by the two sides.
Currently, China imports about 13 per cent of its needed oil supply from Iran.
