A British Airways flight from London to Houston was forced to make an emergency landing in Chicago after a burning smell was detected in the aircraft.
A spokeswoman for the airline said none of the 90 passengers or 15 crew members aboard flight 195 were in any danger and the plane landed safely at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport Sunday, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Passengers were placed on domestic flights to continue their journey to Texas.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the odor.
Last month, a British Airways pilot returned to London's Heathrow Airport after the crew smelled smoke in the cockpit. The Airbus A319 was only 10 minutes into its flight to Zurich, Switzerland, when the pilot requested permission to make an emergency landing. In that case, it turned out the fumes came from an air conditioning unit.
