Labor Disputes Ongoing at TransAlta Alberta Power Plants, an Industrial Info News Alert

The labor union threatened to strike because of several unresolved issues, with wages being the primary concern. Earlier this year, the IBEW served a notice to TransAlta officials that operations and maintenance workers would threaten a strike at the Sundance, Keephills and Wabamun power plants.
