KEPCO to Build Jordan's Largest Natural-Gas-Fed Power Plant, an Industrial Info News Alert

The 400-megawatt plant, based 50 miles south of the capital Amman in Qatraneh, is expected to be operational by 2011. Based on the build-operate-own model, the $500 million project will be commissioned, installed and operated by KEPCO for a period of 25 years.
